Landscape Series - Palm Springs
Just after Thanksgiving in 2023, my husband and I went out to Palm Springs to turn off our brains and have some time outside of the city. We decided to take the Aerial Tramway (something we always wanted to do but never made time for) and it was so fun. The views are incredible and it was cold enough to where there was icy snow in places along the walkway. We had a glass of wine at the top at the silly little restaurant and watched the sunset. The colors across the valley below were dusty and perfectly pastel. I know it seems like a tourist trap, but I really do recommend the Tram, and if you have the time, there’s amazing hiking trails up there too!
PS this was the trip we got Chips the dog :)
About the Limited Series:
A collection of postcards from my own travel roll, this series is deeply personal. These blurred snapshots are from my life and travels and span over the last 10 or so years of exploration. With this graphic treatment, they become more about blended colors and textured blurs and become these soft ephemeral scenes.
Nature continues to be a North Star in my practice and I’m so happy to share these exploratory views.
