Landscape Series - Dolomites
In 2018 we visited the Italian Alps for the first time. The most memorable hike I’ve ever been on… to this day. There were free roaming horses and cows, fresh, clean drinking water bubbling up from the ground, and steep cliffs that look out into the Dolomites. Along the path you could stop at an alpine hut, or rifugi, and have a fresh snack of cheese and meats (raised on site) and a beer with unbelievable, remote, mountain views.
About the Limited Series:
A collection of postcards from my own travel roll, this series is deeply personal. These blurred snapshots are from my life and travels and span over the last 10 or so years of exploration. With this graphic treatment, they become more about blended colors and textured blurs and become these soft ephemeral scenes.
Nature continues to be a North Star in my practice and I’m so happy to share these exploratory views.
Please note this particular mug is slightly discounted due to a very small crack at the handle joint.
